Working together, we will create a legacy of excellence and continue to lead students to become life-long learners.  We will build a strong community and instill knowledge that will lead our students to be the best they can be in a world that is ever-changing.  Teaching students and families the 7 Habits through The Leader in Me will help lead them throughout not only their educational career but throughout life. 

What to expect at Stonebridge Elementary

Academically, our teachers participate in professional development to ensure they have a full understanding of the most current teaching methods.  Students are provided STEAM opportunities within their classroom, in the STEAM lab, and in the library.  Technology is used in each classroom.  Students are provided a Chromebook that is used to enhance education and to provide additional support in academic areas.  Teachers use interactive Promethean boards throughout the school day to assist in guiding students through educational concepts.

Fourth-grade students enjoyed the annual trip to Alabama's capital city, Montgomery. Students have a chance to visit and tour the historical city.

Reading

Reading is important for elementary students because it helps them develop language skills, critical thinking, and empathy.

Effective teamwork and collaboration are considered important to the student's learning process.

Band
Band

The band is great for 6th graders. Students learn about music theory, develop fine motor skills through instrument playing, and enhance their ability to read music.

BCBE will hold Go Gold Day on September 25 in honor and memory of childhood cancer patients.
Go Gold Day

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and each year Baldwin County Public Schools comes together to recognize the children and families in our community who have been impacted by childhood cancer.

On Friday, Sept. 25, we are asking our schools to Go Gold! Students and employees are encouraged to wear yellow or gold as a show of support for children battling cancer, survivors and the families who stand beside them. Learn more at this link.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend the annual BCBE Band Jamboree featuring colorful sights and sounds of our talented high school band programs on September 22, 6:30pm, Jubilee Stadium- Daphne High School.
